Business Data Analyst

Location: Cracow

Our Client is one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations. Currently, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Business Data Analyst (Cracow).

 

What will you do

• Assess the viability of new requests and provide proposals and solutions to the business that meet business requirements, align with IT strategy and maximize reuse opportunities
• Use domain, enterprise/application and data knowledge to deliver business-centric solutions
• Translate business data requirements into system requirements using the appropriate terminology to facilitate the progression of a project through elaboration and definition
• Map source data into the target model (STM)
• Articulate and identify non-functional requirements
• Provide business-driven IT consultancy, giving information about potential technology solutions, costs and timescales to enable the business management team to make informed choices about their investments in IT

Who you are

• Demonstrable experience of working in a data-related role: data analysis, data modeling, data architecture and/or data management with hands-on technical experience of using associated technologies
• Good knowledge and understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs / requirements and deliver organizational strategy
• 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in business analysis role on complex projects across countries or regions
• Understanding of banking/financial services industry and/or shared services organizations
• Experience in business analysis, data analysis or consulting activities
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Experience with running meetings in English over video or teleconference
• Experience in metadata and cloud projects would be an advantage
