Business Analyst
Location: KrakowYou'll be working in a new financial crime prevention team based in Poland, part of the global Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Monitoring program organization. Our role is to design and implement innovative IT solutions to help prevent, detect and report on financial crimes and terrorist financing activities. We are a global IT team supporting internal clients throughout the world.

Would you like to learn about how financial crime prevention is managed, what tools for its management are used at UBS and become a subject matter expert within financial crime prevention?
Your team
You'll be working in a new financial crime prevention team based in Poland, part of the global Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Monitoring program organization. Our role is to design and implement innovative IT solutions to help prevent, detect and report on financial crimes and terrorist financing activities. We are a global IT team supporting internal clients throughout the world.
We are looking for Business Analyst with a knack for analysing business processes to:
- study and document business cases, processes and requirements
- work with IT and business stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose, satisfy business needs and requirements, and take into account architectural and efficiency considerations
- ensure requirements are understood and accepted by all relevant stakeholders, including documenting sign offs
- identify, raise and progress RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- prepare and execute (Pre-UAT ) test cases, raise and track defects as well as support end-user testers
- organize and host training sessions, prepare training materials and post-implementation support for run-the-bank user
SKILLS
MUST
- 5 years of work experience, contributing to IT projects
- Working experience in Agile Scrum delivery environment, using tools such as JIRA, Confluence
- Pro-active and independent approach to managing projects and communicating with stakeholders
- Good MS Excel and SQL skills
- Comfortable in a Linux based server environment incl scripting
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of editing XML, CSV and JSON files
- Experience with identification and tracking RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Good written and spoken English
NICE TO HAVE
- Degree in Computer Science or Economics
- Experience as a business analyst or business support analyst
- Familiarity/experience with Financial/IB domain
- Understanding of cmd, Python, VB, PowerShell, bash
- Experience with test cases preparation and execution (Pre-UAT ), defects traction as well as end-user testers support
- Experience in training sessions organisation (training materials and post-implementation support for run-the-bank users)
