Role Description

ITR has a growth strategy which relies on unlocking conversion & growth through the right portfolio
choices. Gifting contributes significantly to confectionery sales in travel retail and shows growth
prospects. We have identified gifting & seasonals as a priority growth driver in the 1-5 year horizon. This
role will be responsible to recommend portfolio priorities and plans in Gifting & Seasonals, and will oversee
portfolio development workstreams.

The job holder will need to work seamlessly with the ITR Category Team, Sales Team, and activity
management team. He/she will need to cultivate strong peer relationships to drive portfolio priorities
within the organization. Motivating Others will be an important skill in leading ATG discussions and
workstreams which involve a wide selection of associates from across diverse functions. Prioritization
will be essential in pursuing initiatives which matter and deprioritizing others to drive focus and efficiency

Responsibilities

1. Category Understanding
- Develop clear understanding of the Celebrate/gifting partition in confectionery, market &
shopper insights
- Build insight driven plans to drive conversion & growth through confectionery gifting & seasonals
- Develop knowledge of customer requirements & perspective to achieve success in gifting &
seasonals
- Use data & tools such as retail sales to track MWC & competitor performance and influence
portfolio & activation recommendations

2. Portfolio & Activity Planning
- Accountable to formalize global and regional brand priorities for gifting & seasonals
- Develop annual growth plans based on flywheel diagnostics & growth operating model
- Responsible for the development of 3 year portfolio & activity plans
- Manage all activities within the S&OP+ & QuEST process
- Lead ATG, ATG discussion for all activities related to gifting & seasonals
- Responsible for development of display concepts & marketing collateral for managed activities
- Ensure that all brand activities align with the respective brand compass & guidelines
- Continuous tracking of activity KPIs and deliverables post execution

3. Tracking, Control, and Operational Management
- Pricing recommendations on annual basis as input to pricing team
- Manage activity milestones in-line with PMR activity management process
- Ensure spend and investment within assigned budget
- Recommend research requirements and manage projects as relevant
- Ensure all activities comply with Mars Marketing Code

Requirements

1. Education & Professional Qualification
- University degree; Minimum 3 years Brand Management experience

2. Knowledge/Experience
- 4-5 years work experience
- Marketing experience is essential. Sales experience will be beneficial.
- Previous marketing experience in FMCG would be preferred
