Batch Scheduling Lead Technician

Who are we looking for?

• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux OS family operating systems
• Very good knowledge of a scheduling tool (Control-M 9, CA Workload Automation AE)
• Good verbal & written English
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Criminal record certificate

Nice to have:

• Experience with scripting

An asset would be:

• Experience in a Data Center enterprise environment
• ITIL awareness
• Readiness for on-call duties

As a Batch scheduling Lead Technician you will need to be able to work under time pressure and be ready for multitasking. What will you do?

This job offer is for professionals, who have skills, knowledge and experience in managing the Batch Processing Tools and are ready to work in American business hours. In this position you will be responsible for the work coordination of a team of Batch scheduling administrators.

As a Batch scheduling Lead Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and designing batch jobs implementation plans. You will also focus on possibilities of improvement and optimization of the batch plan (tools: BMC Control-M 9 and CA Workload Automation AE)

You will be also responsible for:

• Performing creation / update / removal of batch jobs
• Preparing batch plan evolution
• Taking part in projects
• Handling incidents and major incidents according to agreed SLAs
• Maintaining technical documentation & procedures up-to-date
• Troubleshooting
