Key focus: maintain and support the site OT infrastructure assets and control system applications in order to deliver a reliable and secure platform for manufacturing operations, and sustain Cyber Security standards & compliance. Support design and execution of the C&IS elements for new projects and productivity initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for governing the specifications for Control System hardware, software and OT network infrastructure in the site and ensuring compliance to all OT Cyber Security policies
- Implement technical productivity initiatives relating to control systems and OT
- Provide technical leadership and governance on major site project implementations.
- Plan system improvements and upgrades to maintain the investments, increase efficiency, and ensure lowest Total Cost of Ownership
- Build capability into the site to support and sustain the critical systems, and provide technical support resource as required
- Manage relationships with external system suppliers and partners to deliver performance and cost improvements
- Managing the communications and coordination throughout the organization from the operations floors to the Sites Senior Leadership and Sector
Experience/requirements:
- Comprehensive technical experience of PLC, SCADA systems and Historians, Database - SQL
- Foundational knowledge of networks, servers, system backup, virtual machines, management switch(Cisco) and Microsoft operating systems
- Wide-ranging knowledge of manufacturing systems, processes and applications
- Minimum of 5 yrs experience of maintaining PLC control systems, SCADA and networks in a 24x7 FMCG operating environment
- Proven track record in multi-discipline control and IT system project management
- High leadership abilities and communication skills within all organization level;
- Strong coordination skills (management of projects, systems implementation and problem solving groups)
- Strong analytical skills
- A basic understanding of environmental aspects and impacts; manufacturing processes, supply chain management
- Authorized and knowledgeable through qualifications and experience on electrical systems and machinery
- Understand continuous improvements programs: Lean, Six Sigma, M&W
- Excellent documentation, communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to collaborate, and to align teams behind shared goals
- Ability to manage competing priorities, and formulate and deliver against time-plans
- Exemplary interpersonal skills with ability to influence at senior levels within the organization
- Ability to explain complex technical issues/solutions to a non-technical audience
- Auto Cad, MS Office SQL, Studio5000, Factory Talk View, InTouch, VMware, ThinManager
