Role Description
You will be part of a dynamic and highly motivated team driving the characterization and evaluation of large molecule entities that are being developed in different vaccine programmes. During your work you will interact with various teams. Performing laboratory work in person and help contract research organization (CROs) plan and execute their assignments.This department is focused on biochemical assay capabilities, which are centered mainly on carbohydrate, protein and glycoprotein antigens. With a strong focus on biochemical and immunological expertise.
Responsibilities
- Analysing of antigen-antibody interactions- Develop new biochemical methods such as dot blots, capillary western blot, ELISA or biosensor based binding assays
- Together with product development specialists: design and implement biochemical assays for in-process control, product characterization and product release
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master in a relevant field- 2-4 years experience in Biological Science
- Strong background in Biochemical assays of carbohydrates, proteins and glycoconjugates
- Knowledge of protein purification
- Experienced with colorimetric assays, ELISA, Cell Based assays, labelling of biomolecules
- Fluent in English, Dutch a plus
