THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.

Artwork Department
• Four artwork creators (associate labeling) and two planners / project coordinators
• Central department in the supply chain organization
• Interaction with artwork team members
• Interaction with supporting departments like Regulatory, Packaging Engineering, Quality and Marketing

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Artwork reviewer you are mainly responsible for the artwork creation, reviewing and coordination and also represent the Labeling department in various teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Specific Tasks
• As a coordinator of commercial artwork
• Create accurate computer-generated artwork (design proofs)
• Assign bar codes and other identification symbols to the components and maintain logs of these items
• Proof and approve all designed artwork
• Route all artwork for review and approval and track status
• Review artwork
• Prepare computer files for printing and send files to supplier
• Proof and approve suppliers proof
• Create and maintain technical lay-outs, templates
• Work with print suppliers to solve problems on files content format and file exchange
• Coordinate printing of components with suppliers and Site Planning
• Interact with supporting departments: Site Planning, Regulatory, Production, Quality, Commercialization, Engineering

As a member of the Labeling team
• Write and maintain (un)controlled documents
• Write and follow up on non-conformances, CAPAs
• Write and maintain training material and provide on the job training
• Create samples, mock-ups, photographs of packaging upon request
• Changes and/or additional responsibilities with associated tasks can be initiated by the Manager

As a member of a multi-functional team
• Report issues, challenges, difficulties etc.
• Interact with peer team members
• Interact with supporting departments
• Represents the Artwork team in cross functional projects (e.g. projects related to systems, process improvements and new technical features in cooperation with Engineering)

REQUIREMENTS

• MBO+ education in graphical design or desktop publishing
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
• Fluent in English, both in oral and written communication

OTHER

• Experience in project work
• Experience in a pharmaceutical/GMP environment
• Experience in a labeling environment
• Affinity with languages
• Familiarity with printing processes
• Ability to prepare status sheets, reports, document tracking
• Ability to meet strict timelines
• Ability to work in an intense and changing environment
• Able to follow through on tasks and motivate others to meet deadlines
