We are currently looking for an AP accountant with German. In this position you will be responsible for various operational activities within an Accounts Payable area in new Shared Service Centre office in the centre of Katowice.
Your responsibilities:
You will be responsible for performing the end-to-end PTP processes that may include: accounting documents processing, payments, settlements, for monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities including completion of sub-ledger postings and reconciliations, sub-ledger cut-off. You will be super-visioning of complete AP accounting processes for legal entities being under responsibility, identifying and solving common cross-process issues.

We are looking for people with 3+ year of professional experience in (AP/PTP process) preferably gained in SSC/BPO, very good knowledge of English and good knowledge German, University degree (preferable Accounting or Finance area) and very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.

You will also:
- Support for General Ledger (GL) activities and journal entries.
- Master data change requests.
- Manage and update internal processes and manuals (e.g. internal control requirements)
- Ensuring accuracy and data integrity in the end-to-end PTP process by compliance with the internal control requirements.
- Support Legal Entities and HQ on ad-hoc tasks
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to other team colleagues on technical, professional and client issues at the level of team’s daily duties
What we need:
We are looking for people with 3+ year of professional experience in (AP/PTP process) preferably gained in SSC/BPO, very good knowledge of English and good knowledge German, University degree (preferable Accounting or Finance area) and very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
