Analytics and Data Developer is the role within Global Technology Risk Management Analytics and Data Science team. We are a very small agile team who is passionate about data, building and implementing analytics, visualisations, data intelligence dashboards, and automatons that help business to anticipate critical risk events, visualise risk concentrations, define better KRIs, streamline risk management, incident and vulnerability monitoring and reporting. If you like to develop tools and visualisations to bring data to life, highly motivated, inherently curious, technical, results oriented individual we want you to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on new requirements and work with business users and teams
• Scope and estimate technical work
• Track and communicate progress
• Develop interactive dashboards, user interfaces, and ETL processes
• Integrate using various API’s
• Support and troubleshoot issues
Requirements:
Familiarity and experience with any Enterprise BI Tool, such as Tableau, Jasper, Qlik
• Experience with Pentaho data integration or any workflow-based ETL tool
• Experience implementing web-based analytics and business intelligence solutions
• Hands on experience writing SQL queries and general database concepts
• Basic experience with SharePoint development
• API integration experience
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and product development Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related discipline or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience building analytical and data driven solutions
• Experience in financial services industry is a plus
• Relevant risk management certification is a plus
