THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
This is a company who operates internationally and has high quality products.They focus on the animal industry and provide food for livestock.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be part of the logistics team and make sure the products come to the clients on time. Most of the clients are big agricultural companies but also the smaller companies are clients from this company. They have their own trucks, tankers but they also outsource transportation. During a couple of months per year this department plays an important part in a sugar project. Next to this tasks and project you also have an important part in analyzing data to improve the planning and buying process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continuous improvement of the processes within planning and logistics
- Material Planning for agricultural products and food for livestock
- Analyzing data and statistics to improve the process of planning and transportation
- Forecasting the agricultural products
- 4 month sugar project every year
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or equal by experience
- Experience in planning for at least 2 years
- Experience in the food industry
- Knowledge of agriculture
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (both required)
