Accounting Statutory Associate Manager

Our Client is an international, medical, dynamic company. We are looking for candidates who are interested in the position of Accounting Statutory Associate Manager for their Shared Service Center located in Wroclaw.

Description

• Prepare statutory financial statement following local regulations and lead the process of final sign off
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (German accounting standards HGB)
• Conduct on-going statutory accounting reviews and booking of adjustments and reclassification needed to comply with local accounting
• Liaise with the external auditor to ensure that the local statutory requirements are met
• Collection and review of detailed documentation to support statutory disclosures
• Act as a single point of contact during the statutory audit
• Proactively address accounting and tax queries as they arise

Profile

• 3+ years of experience working in financial and accounting
• Good knowledge of HGB standards
• Good knowledge about accounting principles and rules
• SAP system knowledge would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of English and German
• Microsoft Office knowledge (esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• University degree in accounting, finance, economy or related
