Currently for our Client – international company located in Katowice, we are looking for Accounting and Reporting Specialist with English. If you are familiar with GL, financial statements or you have an experience in AR&AP and you want to develop in GL area- this job is for you!
Your new role
You will be responsible for accurate performance of accounting operations within the end-to-end service delivery model ensuring that month end reporting for a cluster of countries with medium-complex legal and statutory structure of countries is done OTIF and in a cost-efficient manner. To lead continuous improvement & harmonization initiatives for one of the R2R Process for Europe to increase cost-efficiency & speed of the service delivery model and audit.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideal candidate should have university degree, good knowledge of IFRS and financial accounting skills. We are looking for Candidates who have bachelor or master’s degree in area of finance, strong problem solving, and analytical skills. Very good English is a must (at least B2-)

Your new role
You will be responsible for accurate performance of accounting operations within the end-to-end service delivery model ensuring that month end reporting for a cluster of countries with medium-complex legal and statutory structure of countries is done OTIF and in a cost-efficient manner. To lead continuous improvement & harmonization initiatives for one of the R2R Process for Europe to increase cost-efficiency & speed of the service delivery model and audit.
Scope of responsibilities include:
- Take E2E ownership for the accuracy & correctness of the books for a cluster of countries with medium-complex legal structure
- To manage and co-ordinate the end to end process for transacting, closing and reporting the Group accounts including control and reconciliation of the general ledger
- Ensure effective management of all input to financial systems and the control, verification, and processing of all financial transactions – either through the own team or the external service provider
- Ensure accounting rules are properly applied for both management and financial accounts in compliance with corporate standards and secures integrity of financial systems and the financial operating model, in accordance with financial procedures, external audit requirements and best accounting practice
- Present & explain movements in financial statements to National Finance Director or VP Finance in quarterly close meetings
- Verify accounts reconciliation performed by service provider
- Ensure intercompany balances at minimum level
- To lead strategic continuous improvement & harmonization initiatives for one of the R2R Process for Europe to increase cost-efficiency & speed of the service delivery model
- Present & explain movements in financial statements to National Finance Director or VP Finance in quarterly close meetings
- Manage the relationship with Service Recipient Managers in the MCOs. Interact with the Controllers and National Finance Director or VP Finance wherever required
- Developing win-win relationships with selected providers to meet our current and future requirements
- Take responsibility for the end-to-end financial accounting process for all countries serviced
- Purchase to pay process experience would be an asset
