We are looking for candidates for the position of Accountant for an international company located in Gdańsk, which offers products and services for the consumer, medicine and business around the world.
Your new role
• Allocating and clarifying payments
• Dunning process of all overdue items
• Securing on time customer payments and providing Customers with requested documents
• Setting up direct debits
• Checking, creating and recharging invoices/credit notes
• Bank reconciliation
• Maintaining relationship with customers/business partners
• Facilitating the identification and resolution of any customer disputes/queries
• Performing root cause analysis
• Identifying process improvement needs and providing possible solutions
• Taking an active part in creating and keeping process documentation up to date
• Making sure agreed KPIs are on the required level
• Providing training and support for new team members
What you'll need to succeed
·Good understanding of Order to Cash process
·experience in accounting department
·English language level allowing business communication
·German language (nice to have)
·Ability to build and maintain relations with customers and business partners and understand their needs
·Presenting level of commitment, responsibility, ownership
·Well-organized
·Accuracy and attention to details
·Problem-solving attitude
·Ability to identify process improvement needs
·Good command of Excel
·Experience in working with the ERP systems, preferably SAP
