Accountant (f/m)
The Employee Finance Administration is part of the Finance department and reports directly to the Finance Manager and with dotted line to Team Lead of Accounts Payable. The focus of this function is to make sure that all processing of all financial processes at our Client are done in line with agreed upon timelines and policies in place.

Job description:
- Prepares reports from statistical and financial data to ensure management receives appropriate information in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintains ledgers, statements, and accounts within established procedures, taking appropriate action to secure or make payments, resolve discrepancies, etc.
- Provides checks/approvals for tax coding (CIT, VAT)
- Prepares & reviews month end reconciliations sheets
- Assists with internal and external audits
- Troubleshoots and handles the more technical aspects of work handled by less senior clerks
- Acts as a specialist and thought leader on dealing with exceptions
- Performs complex root-cause and business impact analyses as exceptions occur, identifying process and policy improvements
- Advises and instruct business users in case of deviations from the standard
- Deals with external customers/suppliers in order to resolve non-routine queries and problems
- Provides technical/legal guidance and assistance in the training of less senior accounting clerks
- Initiates and leads process improvement projects
- Potential full backup for Team Lead
- Specialist in certain parts of accounting, like reporting, KPIs, automation, forecasting and cash management
Profile
Requirements:
- Master's degree in accounting/ finance
- At least 6/8 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced in English
- Extensive Accounting and Tax knowledge (senior)
- Understands end-to-end process improvement and automation
- Trains others in managing analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and KPI monitoring
- Excellent understanding of working in SAP, Excel
