The Company

Our client is a big organisation, specialised in wound care and surgical products. Their products aim to make the work of surgeons and operating room professionals more efficient and effective. With their international presence, they are a market-leading contributor to the world of healthcare. For their division in Flanders, they are looking for a new account manager.

Role Description

As an account manager, it's your aim to create business within your region. The region you will be responsible for is Antwerp, Limburg and Flemish Brabant. It is the account manager's task to make sure all existing customers are satisfied, while prospecting for new potential clients.

Responsibilities

Daily interaction with clients, follow-up, provide advice and assistance to questions and complaints
Introduce new products and negotiate about contracts
Contribute to implementation and creation of an effective sales strategy
Make sure the company is top of mind amongst the customers needing new instruments
Meet the annual sales targets
Address changing trends and needs in the market

Requirements

BSc or MSc degree in a commercial or medical field
At least 5 years of experience in sales of medical devices
Relevant experience and knowledge of the operating room
Fluent English and Dutch, French is a big plus
Commercially driven, ambitious
Willing to spend a lot of time with clients in OR's
