The company has production facilities in 18 countries on 5 continents, and manufactures and delivers high quality feeds from hatching to harvest for more than 60 species. Its total annual production volume of feed is more than 3 million tonnes. The company employs worldwide over 3.500 people. Its headquarters is located in Norway. The firm applies its knowledge of ingredients and the nutritional needs of fish and shrimp to develop innovations that achieve optimum nutritional value, sustainable production and economic performance as it seeks to fulfil its company-wide purpose of Feeding the Future.

Our Client is the aquaculture business line of a world leading enterprise in animal nutrition with its Polish livestock feed branch located in Grodzisk Mazowiecki near Warsaw. To further develop the sales to (especially salmonids) fish farms in Poland, our client is currently looking for an Account Manager.

Role

Promote and sell the feed solutions portfolio towards fish farms in Poland.

  • Co-develop and execute the sales plan for Poland. Promote and sell fish feed products and services to existing and potential customers, applying the sales strategy defined with the Sales and Marketing Manager in France.
  • Establish sustainable relations with your customers (with focus on trout and salmon fish farms and hatcheries) and the distributor network in Poland.
  • Create and sustain relations with new customers, analyse the needs of your clients and pro-actively promote products and services, providing on-site advice and effective solutions, tailored for each customer, in order to retain and grow the customer base according to expectations and to achieve the sales targets.
  • Analyse the fish feed market, recognize trends and respond timely on opportunities and queries. Share market knowledge within the team and with the management.
  • Coordinate, execute, maintain / improve / update various administrative sales processes and systems used (CRM, Power BI, e-ordering), in close cooperation with colleagues in Poland and France.
  • Maintain and build own product and technical knowledge in relevant product categories. Stay up to date with the quality and sale regulations of the fish feed sector.
  • The Account Manager closely cooperates with and reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager in France and the Managing Director of livestock feed division in Poland.

Profile
A fish farming specialist with good knowledge about recirculating aquaculture systems.
Job requirements

  • Higher degree in Agriculture (Aquaculture or Feed Technology is an asset).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the fish farming sector and familiar with recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). Experience with technical sales is an asset. 
  • Native Polish, good English. 
  • Prepared for frequent travelling and high presence in the field.

  •  Ability to work proactively and in a self-directed manner, alone in the field and remotely with the team. 
  • Team player, ready to share knowledge, goal oriented and feeling comfortable in contact with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to generate qualitative leads in the fish farming sector, able to advice clients appropriately and to conclude sales.
  • Flexible and service minded, aiming to exceed client expectations.

Place of employment
Home office with frequent travelling.
