Our Client, a global bank, is currently building a new team responsible for one of the most interesting processes in their structure - Hedge Fund Accounting.
This new initiative will give you a chance to transfer knowledge from Dublin and to broaden your experience and knowledge in multinational environment.

Accounting and Valuation Team aims at producing Net Asset valuation (daily, weekly, monthly) for the clients.

Accounting and Valuation Team aims at producing Net Asset valuation (daily, weekly, monthly) for the clients.
Other duties:
- Reconciling and reviewing trades, positions and cash in line with client agreement
- Monitoring corporate actions and processing dividends at each valuation point
- Collating, reviewing and independently verifying portfolio pricing and ensuring all variances are investigated and escalated
- Preparing final trial balance, accruals and expenses on funds to ensure that information on account is up to date and complete
- Conducting payment instruction for fees and expenses and act as signatory for the approval of payments when required
- Liaising and working with the Investor Services team to ensure accurate recording of our shareholder capital activity within Geneva
- Preparing comprehensive and accurate audit files for fund yearend reporting
- Preparing administrators reports for inclusion in board meeting documentation
- Recommending opportunities to enhance client focused service delivery where appropriate
REQUIREMENTS
- fluent English
- relevant education: Finance, Accounting, Economy or similar
- min. 2 years of experience in fund services industry (Fund Accountants, Transfer Agents, NAV Reviewers - will be most welcome)
- working knowledge of MS Office
- strong motivation
- ability to deliver excellent client service.
