Our Client is an international FMCG producer. Due to the start-up of a new factory in Poland company is looking for group of managers reporting directly to manager of the new plant. Currently we are looking for Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor for them. Place of work – Central Poland.
Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for oversee and supervise warehouse & logistics operations and ensure compliance with all procedures and standards. He will ensure that all policies in place governing system entries, processes, internal/external documentation and records are tactically adhered to. Supervisor will identify areas of improvement, propose innovation, and keep abreast of changes in warehousing/logistics trends, technologies & regulations. He will proactively participate in supply planning to influence delivery programs and volumes based on available manpower and storage capabilities while in consideration of stock holding cost. His duties will be to coordinate activities and communicate information and collaborate with the internal and external stakeholder, ensure shipments’ on-time clearance, delivery and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
Ideal candidate should have minimum 3-5 years’ experience (experience in Polish is a must). Bachelor’s degree is a must, APICS certification, CIPS,ISM and Supervisor experience is highly preferable. We are looking for somebody with SCM, Industrial Engineering, finance, economics, logistics or business or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. We need an experienced candidate with ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists. You must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a bright and enthusiastic attitude, be self-starter/initiative, open and communicative, ready to deal with stressful, unexpected situation. English fluency is a must.
