On behalf of our Client, a global SSC located in Gdańsk we are urgently seeking Candidates for the position of VAT Compliance Specialist.Join it as the VAT Compliance Specialist, and you will become a vital part of our company. To be successful in this role you will have to speak English fluently (any other European language will be considered as an advantage) and have 2-4 years of professional experience in business working with VAT experience. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system are needed. Experience from large multinational company and VAT compliance experience or knowledge also will be seen as an advantage. We are looking for people who want to challenge themselves with working in fast-changing company. Therefore, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. In addition we expect the candidate to have great analytical skills, attention to details and good MS Excel skills.
The chosen Candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and valid VAT compliance and preliminary reporting for selected EC countries, EC sales list and Intrastat reporting, closely collaborating with the SSC teams in relation to VAT, documentation of VAT process, reconciliation of VAT accounts and ensuring correct VAT codes used, assisting in VAT audits, assisting in global projects regarding VAT, performing compliance quality VAT checks and update VAT compliance training material.
