THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
The company is a blue-chip firm and one of the leading players in the food industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Third Party Quality Manager is responsible for the quality and food safety of all products produced by third parties, including co-packers, co-makers and suppliers. He or she will work together closely with R&D and Procurement and will review the performance of third party producers, following up with improvement plans and corrective actions when necessary. This position will report to the QA & Compliance Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that products produced by external parties comply with the company's quality standards.
- Review non-conformities and decide if the product should be released.
- Manage and optimise documentation and processes.
- Review the performance of suppliers against QA KPI's and follow-up with relevant actions.
- Give trainings to staff members and external parties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance in the food industry.
- Knowledge of HACCP, BRC and GMP+.
- Experience with carrying out audits, preferably supplier audits.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
