For our Client, an international manufacturing company we are looking for a Thermal Engineer who will become a part of new Research & Development Centre in Poland (greenfield project). The organization will consists of the following functions: Mechanical, Electrical and Thermal design, Project Management, Technical Writer and Sustaining Engineering.
The primary purpose of the position is to develop Thermal Solutions in Poland supporting another company’s R&D Centre in Germany. Reporting directly to Technical Director, the Thermal Engineer will be responsible for developing efficient Thermal Systems for Cabinet applications as well as developing and implementing efficient engineering disciplines. What is more, he/she will plan and schedule activities and projects and continuously develop the competence and skills of the organization. And the last but not least, assuring and maintaining safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations are also a part of Thermal Engineer’s obligations.
To be successful in this role you should have Master or equivalent degree in Science Technology (Thermal) or similar technical fields and at least 5 years of development experience within Active Cooling Systems, Heat Exchangers, Free Cooling Systems, Thermoelectrical Cooling, Heat Pipes etc. Moreover, the knowledge of Thermal design, Change management and DFX Design for Excellence processes are desirable. Demonstrated product development knowledge and experience in working in international environment connected with fluent command of Polish and English are required. Additionally, we are looking for professionals with CAD and PDM knowledge, as well as Product verification and certification. The expertise within design of Telecom and Datacom applications in Cabinets as well as ETSI and CE requirements will be treated as additional assets.
