Test Engineer (PS-LTE)

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Test Engineer is responsible for:
-analysis of Public Safety LTE radio communications system architecture requirements
-definition of end-to-end detailed test cases from the system requirements
-execution of system tests (functional, longevity, performance, failover, blitz) using available in laboratory tests equipment and tools
-monitoring and verification of system behavior
-system level issues debugging
-performing software upgrades
-preparing end-to-end system configurations according to architecture requirements
-effective communications with all engineering departments (System Architects, Software Development Teams)
-optimizing ways of system level requirements validations and tests (mostly automation of test execution)

Specific Knowledge/Skills
- Masters degree (Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics or related)
- Experience in radio communications systems such as CDMA, GSM and/or LTE (preffered).
- Interested in System Test career path
- Knowledge of IP networks and network protocols analyzing tools (Wireshark)
- Basic Knowledge of protocols based on Diameter (like S6a, Gx)
- Knowledge of SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol), SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), GTP (GPRS tunneling protocol) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Redhat, Solaris operating system
- Solid troubleshooting skills with a strong analytical approach to problem solving
- Ability to work efficiently in an international team
- Fluent English
Following skills will be a plus:
-Test methodologies knowledge
-Knowledge of Java or C++ programming language
