Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium.

For a mid- sized company we are looking for a Sales Manager to supplement their ingredient Sales division. This company is specialized in creating solutions, innovations and optimizations on customer demand. This is all done in close cooperation with both existing and potential customers.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

For our client we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager BeNeLux . You will work in a B2B- environment, with the focus on maintaining and building long- term relationships.

As a Technical Sales Manager you are responsible for the Belgium and the Dutch markets. It is up to you to build- out relationships into partnerships. With your technical background and knowledge you are able to give technical support to clients on location. A good understanding of food production processes and ingredient applications is a heavy requirement. You also know how to provide insight in different food production processes. Based on your business plan you care for achieving the Sales objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will be responsible for the Dutch and Belgium market
- You will partly write you own business plan
- You are responsible for achieving the sales targets from this plan and your region
- Responsible for maintaining a relevant network in the Food Ingredients industry
- Technical support on site at customers
- New business development with prospects
- You work in collaboration with R&D, Marketing and Supply Chain

REQUIREMENTS

- > 5 years experience in a similar role
- Master of Food technology or bio chemistry (must)
- Good communicator
- Able to travel up to 60%
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- A perfect understanding of the food industry specialized in ingredients
