Technical Proofreader with German and English

LIDO-LANG Technical Translations is currently looking for candidates interested in the following position of:

 

 

 

Technical proofreader (German, English)

Location: Kraków

 

 

 

The person on this position will be responsible for proofreading of various types of technical texts.

 

 

 

The successful candidate should hold the following skills:

 

 

 

• Proficiency in German, English and Polish (excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar skills are a must);

 

•University degree, preferably in a technical field;

 

• Experience in translations and/or proofreading would be considered as an asset;

 

• Knowledge of technical questions. Understanding of technical vocabulary, manuals, specification and ability to clearly describe them;

 

• Experience in operating CAT Tools (e.g. Transit nxt) will be an asset;

 

• Ability to work to strict deadlines with changing objectives;

 

• Good attention to detail and passion for translation & proofreading.
