Opis stanowiska
The successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for the installation and upgrades of new and existing risk and reporting solutions for our customers. This involves integration of multiple third-party and in-house applications with their Software Solutions.
• Participate on international implementation projects. Full availability to travel is therefore essential.
• Be responsible for the support, maintenance and quality assurance of implemented software. Install and upgrade software solutions, both on-site and off-site, for customers
• Troubleshoots customer environmental issues related to network, security, performance, database or other issues
• Find workarounds for software bugs and make technical enhancements to resolve customer problems
• Configure environments for internal testing purposes
• Provide technical analysis and requirements’ definition for technical components related to specific client
• Define technical applications requirements including system modifications.
• Provide product demonstrations for customer user groups
• Effectively document technical issues
• Write and maintain documentation to describe developments, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections
• Provide regular status reports including progress towards specific project milestones.
• Provide on-site and telephone support for clients' technical requests and queries
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor degree (or higher) in computer science or related field.
Experience and knowledge
Minimum 2 years previous working experience in the software implementation and operations
• Programming languages: Java™ (J2SE and J2EE)
• Shell scripting in operating systems: Windows Server 2003 and greater, Unix/AIX
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
• Solid understanding of Relational Databases and advanced knowledge of Oracle
• Knowledge of application servers like: Tomcat, GlassFish, WebSphere others
• Knowledge of Visual Basic will be an asset
• Fluency in Polish and English, written and oral.
Desirable:
• Banking Systems and Databases experience such as Bank GL, Fermat, DefBank, Riskpro, Sungard, Fermat
• Projects experience will be an asset
• Fluency in other European languages (French, Russian, and German) will be huge asset.
