THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.
A big food packaging developer and manufacturer specialised in injection moulding.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Teamleader Packaging will be in charge of customers' whole packaging development project, starting from ideation up to final delivery. He/she will be reporting directly to the director product development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- translate customers' needs into proposals
- support Providing and supporting Sales with technical expertise concerning packaging material and contributing in presentations to customers for foodservice and airline clients
- support packaging projects taking into account sustainability, efficiency, quality and budget
- coordination of packaging solutions in close collaboration with customers and setting up requirements in line with expectations
- stay informed on new trends en developments in eco friendly packaging
- work in multidisciplinary teams
REQUIREMENTS
- Bsc or MSc in Packaging
- 3+ years of relevant experience in packaging development within the food industry
- Knowledge of production techniques with materials such as cardboard and plastic
- Driven, strategical and analytical out-of-the-box thinker
