Our Client - European leading supplier of semi-trailers is looking for a Team Leader for an Team Leader in the Accounting Team.
On this position you will:
- Manage the accounting activities of the accounting team
- Ensure integrity of the asset sub-ledger and records
- Ensure ownership of an end-to-end process in asset control, improve process & interface controls
- Responsible for the development of staff
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close within the assigned deadlines
- Responsible for ensuring the reconciliation on GL and sub ledger
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders including regional offices
- Support the Tax & Controllership team
- Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Ensure all appropriate back up documentation, sign-offs and overviews are obtained and archived in an appropriate manner
- Provide ad hoc business support
What you'll need to succeed:
- 3+ years of experience in Finance of which the last 2+ years in a team lead position leading a group of accounting staff
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or similar field
- Working knowledge of General accepted accounting principles
- Thorough knowledge of working with financial system and applications
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), VBA & Access will be an advantage
- Fluent in English – additional languages preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation and business
- Optimistic & Can-do approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, in a multi-cultural environment
