Your new company
The company has its branches in 36 countries and operates on more than 100 financial markets providing asset management and custodian services to financial institutions, global corporations, banks and individuals.

Reporting team monitors accounts in the documentation system and validates the received documentation. In addition, they are responsible for receiving, acknowledging, scanning, distributing and archiving related tax documents as per procedure. Annually the team prepares reports to local Tax Authorities listing clients’ reportable accounts according to Common Reporting Standard regulations

Your new role
Team Leader will manage the team of 3-4 tax specialists. S/he will ensure that the daily operational tasks and issues, related to regulatory tax data gathering and reporting, are executed accurately and timely. S/he understands the rules, processes and specific procedures around the regulatory reporting, with the support of a legal and/or tax service expert, and drives the team performance and motivation.Deals with clients’ questions on the regulatory rules, consistency and validity of provided documents.The CRS Team Leader is an essential part of the regulatory reporting process ensuring excellence in the service offered to clients and ensuring all procedures and processes are in line with the bank’s policies and the TA regulatory rules. If a regulatory report is not issued and updated in a timely manner, it could cause financial and reputation loss.The communication, exchange of information and reporting is an integral part of the job, be it with internal or external parties. The CRS Team Leader must be able to request and convey information in an accurate and efficient manner and adapt the communication to the audience. S/He interacts on a day-to-day basis internally with various operational units and externally with Tax Authorities.


What you'll need to succeed
- Preferable Tax/Financial Services experience (2-3 years preferable)
- Experience in people/project management would be an asset
- Fluent English is a must
- MS Office knowledge is a must (preferable MS Excel advanced user)
- Candidate must have the ability to work under pressure and prioritize and handle many tasks at once, because of the global ownership of the whole operational process on UK FATCA/CRS regulations
- Candidate possesses strong analytical skills and be organized, due to the many regulations and spreadsheets to be updated and monitored
- Candidate has the ability to work both independently (full responsibility on validating documents, updating spreadsheets/systems, creating reports) and as part of a team (working with project management and Tax SME’s on new developments in the regulations)
- Candidate must be control-oriented with the ability to observe a process, identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements and alternatives to improve overall operations
- For regulatory reporting it is of the highest importance to be accurate, complete and timely. Any problem that would occur in the process, has to be solved and/or escalated immediately so a solution can be found prior to the deadline (extension of deadline is not allowed).
