Your new company
On behalf of our Client, internationally recognised BSC Company in Tricity, we are currently looking for the Candidate who will hold the position of Tax Research Lead.
Your new role
The person holding this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining global tax compliance modules on our Client’s internal tax platform. You will be expected to capture the tax business requirements (tax rules, tax return structure, E-filing capability) for the Corporate Tax software. You will manage the requirements and test documentation process, ensuring the development and quality assurance teams can deliver functionality required by the customers. What is more, you will need to utilise your deep tax experience and research skills to document requirements, leveraging our in house domain / product specialists, third party content providers and Revenue authority contacts as required to fulfill the role and you will form part of the customer support function, providing assistance on product support calls.
What you'll need to succeed
A successful Candidate will be an experienced tax professional of 5 years (and around 1 year supervisory experience would be a bonus) with practical experience in tax compliance and / or advisory, ideally across more than one country. You should possess good understanding and experience in creating and reviewing tax accounting calculations and reconciliations as well as strong tax research skills, ideally with experience of reviewing a wide variety of complex tax returns. Previous exposure to tax compliance in one of the following countries would be an advantage: UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Germany. Fluent English and interest in technology with a demonstrable knowledge of software systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is a must. ACCA certification would be a strong asset.
