Supply Chain Specialist (Upstream)
Location: Bukowno k. KatowiceMajor duties and responsibilities:
- Organize and optimize the procurement of components with our suppliers by following the Schneider Production System principles, from last ad value of the supplier to point of use in the plant (physical and IT flows, in close association with stock controllers) including logistic solutions, batch size, lead time, packaging, ABC/FMR analysis
- Manage supplier forecast and their accuracy
- Act as SAP Key User
- Support material cost reduction actions at the entity level
- Monitor and improve the upstream Supply Chain performance
- Develop local suppliers base: improve tools, competencies (Material management, SPS)
- Pilot the containment, corrective and preventive actions to solve upstream Supply Chain issues of the plant using the 8D methodology
- Escalade to central function for critical issues with suppliers
- Implementation of rules and principles of management of suppliers
- PPEP, Transfer / Disengagement process, SAM audit, Contract / Logistic terms & conditions
- Use Lean tools for Supply Chain performance: VSM, E-VSM
Required qualifications and skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain
- At least 5 years of experience in production environment
- Data analysis skills
- Communication skills and ability to influence others
- Leadership skills
- Ability to build long term relations with suppliers
- Coaching skills to support logistic team development
- Self discipline and ability to prioritize
- Experience in SAP environment
- Lean concept understanding
- English is a must, French will be welcome
