ROLE DESCRIPTION
Within this role you will be part of the Supply Chain Team. You are responsible for maintenance, continuous improvement and development of the planning processes. The Supply Chain manager reports to the Manager Production & Logistics who in turn reports to the COO. Ensure the proper functioning of the planning & scheduling department, coordinate, supervise, motivate, and evaluate its employees, develop their skills and give them further training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for operational purchasing and initiating continuous improvement with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure the agreed delivery times
- Mid-term forecasting
- Ensure inventories are consistent
- Responsible for the Master Data
- Establish short-term and long-term objectives for the supply-chain organization
- Analyzing processes
- Make sure the planning & scheduling department is functioning
- Propose improvement in IT-Tools
- Give input on budgets
- Coach the employees of the planning & scheduling department
- Ensure compliance
- Report about KPI's
- Continuous improvement of the Supply Chain Process
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
- Min. 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain Manager role, preferably in the medical devices industry
- Good knowledge and experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of planning tools
- Hands on mentality
