THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Brussel Belgium.
The company produces a variety of products for both b2b and b2c.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The supply chain manager is strategically responsible for the logistics flow, production flow and production planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What belongs to this is e.g. transportation and stock calculations in order to be most efficient. You will manage different logistical employees and be responsible for accurate planning. Finally, part of the responsibilities is also to manage different budgets for supply chain project e.g. an ERP Implementation.
In short you are responsible for the efficiency of the supply chain and strategical growth within the organisation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Multiple years of experience within a production environment in the food industry
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
- Experience with IT systems e.g. Excel, Access and SAP
