Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Waals-Brabant Belgium.
The organisation is a key player in the beverages industry. They aim to create the highest quality products, long-lasting consumer relations and sustainable business growth.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
For a period of 6 months the organisation is looking for a supply chain expert to strengthen the team. The main purpose of the job is to ensure an efficient and high quality management of the product & information flows along the supply chain. This person is to initiate innovate ideas for potential new and better services. The scope of the role is the Benelux area.
The company is looking for a candidate that is very proactive. Someone that can gain the trust and support of others within a project, is prepared to make compromises in order to achieve group objectives but on the other hand contributes ideas, time and energy in order to succeed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate and manage project in order to extend services and improve the efficiency of the warehouse.
- Analyse customer complaints and perform root cause analysis.
- Monitor the quality regulations and guidelines for shelf life rules.
- Ensure compliancy with HQ guidelines
- Monitor and improve system interface of the warehouse management system as well as parcels to delivery partners.
- Conduct weekly and monthly operational reviews.
- Implement innovative delivery services in accordance with commercial guidelines.
- Support procurement manager
- Manage relationships between different departments e.g. Sales by conducting operational reviews and implementing continuous improvement program.
- Manage seasonality with delivery partners and manage potential capacity issues.
- Develop cross-functional alignment with commercial departments to ensure proper execution of promotional activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- A finished Bachelor or Master within Supply Chain
- At least 3 years’ working experience in supply chain and project management
- Advanced analytical skills
- Advanced experience with MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Passion for quality and high accuracy
- Fluent in French or Dutch and English
- Ability to implement company policies and guidelines independently.
