supplier quality engineer

Location: close to Środa Śląska
Responsibilities:
- supplier identification, selection, development and evaluation
- manage the process qualification at supplier (control plan, trail run and rate, process audit)
- participating in Supplier Performance Management Reviews
- prepare and maintain supplier performance reports
- deploy APQP related to the development phase of Bought-Out Parts
- follow the suppliers APQP progress with the status report and make decisions in collaboatarion with the program team
- train the suppliers and make sure the defined standards are properly applied
- resolving technical problems arising at supplier side and effecting purchased commodities
- manage action plans with suppliers in case of deviation approval
- provide quality improvements projects
- reporting the process compliance on a regular basis
- 2-3 years of experience in automotive sector on similar position
- technical university degree (engineering preferred)
- working knowledge in the automotive manufacturing
- very good knowledge of English, German preferred as well
- excellent organization and problem solving skills
- knowledge of QMS-Tools and Techniques: APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, DOE, QFD, PPAP, 8D
- knowledge of QM System tools and process approach, ISO/TS and VDA Quality standards, Lean tools, Six Sigma
- ability to read a technical drawings
- strong work ethic
- ability to work well under pressure
- understands the importance of time management and meeting deadlines
- strong problem solving skills and a team player attitude
