is looking for a person to work as:
Structured Products Specialist / Junior Origination
Place of work: KatowiceMain duties:
- developing products and services for owners and operators of decentralized electricity generation sources (in particular RES) in the area of portfolio management, commercial service and access to the energy market (market and long-term horizon - including LT PPA),
- support in offering products and concluding contracts / transactions for the purchase / sale of electricity from / to decentralized electricity generation sources (especially Renewable), in particular using structured products, non-standard and related services (e.g. options, indexed products, cross products -commodity)
- monitoring and analysing the costs and market and operational risks for the aforementioned products (portfolio analysis)
- support in acquiring new and maintaining relations with existing clients of the Company - producers of energy from decentralized / renewable sources
- analysis of the electricity market, customers and competitors in the range of products and services offered (market analysis)
- support and coordination in the process of concluding and executing purchase and sale transactions of origin of electricity (GOs)
- close cooperation with teams dealing in trade, structured products and portfolio management in ENGIE Zielona Energia and at the Group level in Brussels and Paris
Candidate profile:
- higher education, preferred directions: technical, economic,
- min. 2 years of professional experience in power engineering, in trade or sales,
- knowledge of the mechanisms of the electricity market, structured products and services operating in the field of renewable energy in Poland,
- knowledge of regulations and regulations in the scope of trading in electricity,
- analytical skills, management of large data sets,
- pro-client attitude, with the ability to acquire new customers and create new products,
- the ability to organize work and to effectively absorb new areas of knowledge,
- good knowledge of IT applications and tools, in particular the ability to apply new IT solutions in the area of portfolio management and trading.
- ability to work in a team in an international environment,
- knowledge of Polish and English at an advanced level
