HRO Personnel is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 6696. We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Straight Through Processing Manager (Payments)
Key Accountabilities:
• Effectively manage and provide subject matter expertise when necessary.
• Monitor, gather and analyze information/Data to assess potential impacts and identify possible risks and STP opportunities for the business.
• Identify, test and implement changes to EU GPS ensuring that required procedures are followed.
• Support client onboarding by monitoring testing and providing guidance and feedback to better improve the customer experience.
• Liaise with counterparts within other countries to discuss any new enhancements and share best practice
• Ensure all procedures are up to date and on the intranet for other areas to review if required
• To continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
• In conjunction with Compliance department, to implement the Group Compliance Policy by containing compliance risk in conjunction with the relevant compliance department. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.
• To adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls.
Requirements:
• Payments knowledge encompassing message types, formatting of messages and Swift Guidelines.
• At least two years Payment/Project experience.
• Practical analysis and problem solving skills.
• High level of PC literacy and knowledge of standard office / development tools is required.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Self-driven, ability to work with minimal direction / supervision once trained.
