On behalf of our Client, Eltel company, a global GSS newly to be established in Gdańsk, we are currently seeking Candidates for the position of STP Accountant with English . Eltel is a leading European provider of technical services for critical infrastructure networks – Infranets – in the segments of Power, Communication and Transport & Security, with operations throughout the Nordic and Baltic regions, Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom and Africa.
Your new role
Holding the position of STP Accountant you will be expected to ensure timely, effective and efficient processing of vendor invoices, internal payment demands and other requests related to supplier invoices. The main focus will be to monitor and follow-up on invoices pending resolution and/or approval and dun debtors vendors to obtain the cash. Moreover you will be responsible for processing supplier and intercompany invoices, managing payments related activities, exceptions in payments, urgent payment requested and resolution of rejected payments and supplier returns. The position also requires performing month end closing activities and vendor statement reconciliation.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have a University degree (educational background in accounting/economic is an asset). Adequate understandings of ERP environment as well as 2-3 year experience in accountancy is a must. Very good communication skills in English are required. The ideal Candidate will be a pragmatic person with strong analytical skills, service orientation and proactive attitude.
