It covers the entire EMEA region 24 hours and 7 days a week serving its various International customers throughout Europe, for different market segments like Industry, Banking, and Logistics.
In the frame of new challenging projects in several European countries, we are searching for motivated people with English proficiencies for Storage Specialist position for our Brno team – Czech Republic.
Responsibilities:
Advanced backup troubleshooting
Backup Server management (installation, configuration, policy, update)
Node/ Job management (settings, scheduling, modification)
Media management (space reclamation and scratch pool management, physical errors on media, ordering tapes and stock management)
Externalization, off-site management (copy pool management, DRM and vaulting)
Library management (HW problems troubleshooting, ITS calls)
SAN management
Support for OS teams (restore, on demand backup..)
Wymagania
Unix and Windows administrators skills - basic knowledge needed
TSM - at least 1 year experience
Backup and Recovery strategies
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree would be an advantage
At least 2 years experience in Backup
At least 1 year experience in AIX/UNIX
Fluent English
