The Key Person will be in charge of the following:
- Creation and changes of fund master data in Xentis according to the specifications of the departments and/or control within the framework of the 4-eye-principle
- Registration/application for ISINs for new UI funds (UI D and UI Lux) with WM-Datenservice
- Setting up and amending securities master data in Xentis, assigning internal WKNs/ISINs and monitoring additions to data fields of WM-Datenservice, applying for new WKNs/ISINS at WM
- Preparing and providing files incl. interface monitoring for correct data transmission into Xentis in the case of multiple/mass changes to fund and securities master data
- Setting up, amending and deleting (inactivating) contacts, companies and groups (broker groups) in CRM and documenting the assignments
- Setting up derivatives and supplementing features for pricing (RIC, Bloomberg-Ident), for RiskMetrics or Delta calculation
- Control of daily WM/ÖWS processing and cooperation with WM or Profidata
- Handling the daily corporate action processing in Xentis to verify and handle income payments (interest and dividend payments, fund earnings), obligatory corporate actions and bullet maturities of securities and derivative positions
- Interactions with fund accounting to handle cases not processed in Xentis and/or resolve enquiries e.g. arising from custodian reconciliations
- Data research using data providers WM-Datenservice and Bloomberg for master data and maturity data
- Setting up, amending and inactivating flexible master data fields and field tables in Xentis
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Professional and technical development within the assigned task areas (e. g. Sharepoint, CRM, Xentis) and for the systems used (e. g. CRM rollup tests, Xentis hotfix, patch and release changes);
- CRM- representative;
- Initiative Meeting representative;
- Acting as contact for auditors or internal auditors;
- Collaboration in internal continuous improvement processes or UI projects;
- Individual projects on the instructions of the superior.
Qualifications, Experience/ Skills and Key Competencies The Key Person will bring the following:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the financial sector;
- A good level of both German and English (in writing and speaking);
- Successfully completed vocational training or studies in banking/finance or business informatics
Additionally, the successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Professional experience in the field of an investment management company or a depository;
- Professional experience in the field of master data;
- Experience with the data providers WM, Bloomberg, Reuters, Bureau van Dyk or Markit;
- Very good knowledge of MS Office with a focus on Outlook and Excel.
The following will be seen as an asset:
- Good knowledge of the various fund variants (mutual funds, special funds, equity funds, real estate funds,...);
- Good knowledge of stocks and bonds and their variants;
- Good knowledge of coupons, dividends and distributions and their variants;
- Good knowledge of the various corporate action variants (merger, split,...);
- Good knowledge of the various derivative variants (options, futures, forwards, TBAs,...);
- Professional experience in the field of fund accounting;
- Experience in project work;
