For our client, leading global aerospace and defence supply chain service provider, we are currently looking for experienced candidate to take up a General Manager role.
Your new role
The General Manager is responsible for setting the direction, strategy, and goals of the CoE in partnership with affiliates and stakeholders. On this role, you will establish CoE organisation goals and day-to-day activities through effective target setting and performance management. General Manager provides direction to individuals to achieve targets, SLAs and deadlines. This role is to operate the CoE within budget, delivering class leading performance. On this role you will provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of the CoE organisation and enforce continuous improvement initiatives. In conjunction, this role is responsible for implementing a culture to enable cross-functional collaboration and performance excellence as well as serving as an ambassador for the CoE across the Group. General Manager works closely with HR, attracting the best talent and drive development, retention and engagement activities.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have several years of previous experience in managing and implementing CoE/SSC, representing strong customer service focus. Experience in leading transformative change, delivering process efficiencies through simplification, automation & standardization is essential. To be successful in the role, you need to speak English fluently, have a relevant university degree and represent excellent communication skills with attention to detail. Project Management experience, including playing a leadership role in delivering success projects is highly appreciated.
