Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
As a global company our client is continuously seeking new ways to innovate and grow. This entails hiring the best professionals in the industry to do research, production and marketing of the products. For their R&D team our client is currently looking for a sr tomato breeder.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a breeder you will be developing new varieties of a certain product. With your knowledge of the market you will be asked to develop new programs according to the demand and your findings. You will be responsible for the management of the program you've set up.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Following market developments and acting accordingly;
- Writing and executing breeding programs;
- Working in an international team and maintaining communications with several departments.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a MSc in a related field and 5 years' experience;
- Speak the English language;
- Hands-on attitude, managerial and analytical mindset.
