THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Luik Belgium.
The company is expanding its production capacity and is therefore looking for an expert to guide the operationalization process.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will ensure the implementation of R&D activities in analytical development in collaboration with the CMC Project Leader. In addition, you will liaise with the scientific field to keep on track with and innovate drug analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- advise on and participate in decision-making regarding new product development
- develop scientific expertise in the field of drug analysis for future development and production
- plan and coordinate analytical development activities
- organize the resources and means necessary for laboratory testing and interpret test results
- coordinate the daily work cycle in the analytical laboratory and ensure the compliancy of experiments
- participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of the quality system
- monitor analytical validations and tech transfer
REQUIREMENTS
- Master degree in (Analytical) Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field
- approx. 5 years of experience in this field
- applied knowledge in the application of instrumental techniques, i.e. chromatography
- thorough understanding of cGMP guidelines
- excellent knowledge of French and English (oral and written)
- strong analytical & organizational skills and self-motivated
