THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in West-Vlaanderen Belgium.
The company is a contract development and manufacturing organisation for human use and veterinary markets that focusses on sterile and lyophilized products. The company offers its products in the forms of tablets, capsules, ampoules, suppositories, syrups, pre filled syringes, sterile vials and drops, and nasal sprays.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The S&OP Manager will work within the customer service & supply chain department. In this role you are the key the to integrated planning of all on-site operations, from the order to delivery to the clients. You will act as the control tower of the supply chain operations. With your team (two direct reports) you work closely with other departments. You also ensure the planning of the requirements of components and raw materials as well as the supply of these.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- On the basis of customer forecasts you make the monthly and weekly manufacturing schedule in collaboration with other departments and financial objectives
- Coordinate the different releases of commercial and development products
- You define the requirements for packaging materials and raw materials that are needed for the schedule
- You control the quantity of the components and based on internal and external deadlines
- Supervise two direct reports, ensure the achievement of fixed objectives and performance
- Work closely with the factory manager regarding stock levels, inventory turnover and inventory status
- Participate in continuous improvement
- Participate in the development of new products by identifying materials
- You participate in external audits
REQUIREMENTS
- Master or Bachelor in Economics or Supply chain
- 5 - 7 years' experience in a similar role within a regulated industry (Pharmaceuticals are a plus)
- Proven experience in the implementation of S&OP integrated planning
- Hands-on demand & supply planning experience
- Fluent in English written & verbal (French is a plus)
- Excellent computer skills: Excel, Mapics and SAP
- Critical and Analytical attitude
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus
