Job description
As a Software QA Engineer the person will be responsible for manual and automated testing. Provide technical support and guidance for the others. Also will prepare reports and documentation updates. Apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Working as a member of SCRUM Team Member of multi site project.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, 2 years in Automation.
- Clear on manual testing concepts with certification like ISTQB etc.
- Clear on automation concepts, frameworks and driver planning.
- Should be able to enhance and augment existing framework, libraries and utilities.
- Thorough understanding of FitNesse, White, Test Complete and JMeter.
- Should be able to help Automation Engineers technically and solve their issues
- Strong understanding of core Java concepts, hands on experience in writing Java code.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Excellent communication in English (verbal and written) as well as interpersonal skills.
Additional requirements
- Strong analytical problem solving skills.
- Provide status reports on automation progress and test execution.
- Understand Scrum as an Agile approach to software development, which focuses on delivering valuable business features in short development iterations.
