For our Client, one of the fastest growing sports media companies in the world located in Katowice, due to further development of IT structures we are looking for Software Engineer (Node.js).
Your new role
Working on this position you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the backend API of company product, developing new features and launching new platforms. A successful candidate will have a proven ability in delivering highly scalable backend applications, a desire to work in a fast paced, Agile software development environment and a passion for building a world class product. Moreover, you will deliver high quality, robust and testable code adhering to internal engineering procedures, code conventions and development methodologies.
What you'll need to succeed
An ideal candidate should have knowledge in Node.js (memory profiling, debugging). Moreover, we are looking for candidates with experience in secure software development. In order to be relevant candidate you need to have knowledge about automated build process and one of following tools Grunt.js, Gulp.js. Working as Software Engineer (Node.js) you should understand the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds. An ideal Candidate should be able design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability applications and write unit tests using JavaScript in one of common libraries for example Jasmine.
