Server Management Mainframe zSeries - French language (2nd level support)

Database Management DB2:

·         Support for DB (Prod environment)

·         Handle DBA Change requests , through Change Management process(still applicable in special cases)

·         Fulfill the required SLA’s in change management

·         Ensure required resources and skills are present when executing change requests

·         Follow-up on failed changes with the purpose of improvement

·         Participate in on call duty requested by the customer

·         Health Checks and Analysis

·         Customising DB2 tool at the DB target platforms

·         Ensuring backup, runstats and reorg routines

·         Tuning and performance issues

·         Request for service

·         Checking DMDBA mailbox for incoming requests

·         Business compliance

·         Participate in DB2 upgrade meetings

Experience:

• Database administration with DB2 for zOS, 3 years minimum
• Database certification or matching knowledge
• zOS and DB2 in a data sharing environment
• zOS and DB2 monitoring and operations in data centre  

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years experience in Mainframe (zSeries)
• English: Intermediate
• French: Intermediate

Preferred

• Master's Degree
• French : advantage
