 The Mobile web team is:

• Developing and maintaining the mobile version of the HP.com website

• Developing and maintaining related tools and services

• Developing and maintaining related mobile applications

The Mobile Web Developer will be doing both development work as well as maintenance to one of these software systems and will use the required technologies as needed. Currently technologies/tools used are: ASP.Net, C#, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, XSLT, XHTML and CSS. For some projects the developer will be in direct contact with the project requester, so he/she should be able to create a good relationship with the business contact.

• Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree/Computer Science or equivalent
• Very good algorithmic skills
• Technical knowledge (focus on web programming - server and client side): good knowledge of OOP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, Java
• Is considered a plus: experience in the mobile technologies/frameworks, knowledge of ASP.NET and C#
• Excellent English spoken and written
• Strong quality, customer facing skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• High flexibility
• Able to work in an virtual team environment across several time zones
• Team player - ability and willingness to work with various teams in the support area as well as to work independently
