For our Client, an international services company from banking industry, we are currently looking for candidates willing to work on a position of a Senior Valuation Controller.
The Candidate will have to control and ensure the proper valuation of financial instruments with respect to accounting standards and company’s procedures. Main duties will include performing of fair value adjustments and independent price verification controls, delivering P&L and balance sheets through cooperation with other control departments and improving control and methodologies valuation. Resolving production exemptions and preparing management information will be also accounted as a responsibility. What is more, it will be essential to build relationships with key stakeholders in the company and strive at achieving economies of scale and higher service quality.
A successful Candidate should have a master’s degree in finance, economy, mathematics, physics or engineering, as well as a prior experience in the field of financial markets, treasury or valuation and product control. Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in English are a must. Furthermore, the Candidate should be characterized by outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
