Senior Sourcing Manager - Industrial Manufacturing
For our Client, a global leader in cargo handling solutions and services, we are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager, who will introduce innovative procurement ideas and best practice solutions which bring value to the company's bottom line. The best candidate will work within global structures, and will be challenged with developing sourcing strategies for a portfolio of categories, including steel structures, hydraulics, powertrain and others.

Description
You will report to the Global VP Sourcing and your main duties will be:
- Strategic management of all direct sourced materials from suppliers in Europe for all global operations, to ensure maximum leverage on suppliers and optimum cost savings
- Ensuring that all sourcing deliverables are met for all direct material in Europe
- Ensuring that savings, material delivery and suppliers quality projects are launched, working closely with accountable Sourcing Managers, Supplier Relationship Managers and key stake holders within manufacturing functions
- Ensuring that all corporate policies related to sourcing are being adhered to
- Developing harmonized and on-time reports covering projects, savings, and spend optimization
- Challenging current thinking, identifying optimization projects by categories and sites
- Annual budget development
- Managing a team of over 20 (4 direct reports - Sourcing Managers and Supplier Development Managers)
Profile
- Master's degree within Economics or other relevant discipline, MBA preferred
- At least 8 years of professional strategic sourcing or purchasing experience at a senior level
- Candidates with automotive or other innovation driven industry experience strongly preferred
- Proven track of record in people management within matrix structures
- Business orientation and strong project management mindset
- Outstanding analytic skills, creativity, problem-solving attitude
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Fluency in English, other European language would be an asset
