We are looking for a talented .NET Engineer to join our team and deliver world-class search technologies to mobile devices. You will be working with a smart team of software developers and linguists on both full applications and tools.

You can expect to maintain and extend one or more of the back-end and middleware search applications below:
• Analytics collection and computation: linguistic resources compiled based on traffic and corpora
• Search related workflows (ingestion, search): the real stuff, at scale!
• Content acquisition: our scalable crawler which discovers and crawls content from the web and other sources
• Working on our intelligent search platform and integrating with data partners

Wymagania

Desired Skills & Experience:
• At least 15 years of experience as software developer
• Solid experience in .NET and C#. (backend and some MVC / WebApi)
• Some multi-threaded programming experience
• Experience in designing REST APIs (HTTP, XML, JSON)
• Experience in scalable architectures and high-throughput application design
• Comfortable writing cross-platform applications (Windows/Linux)
• Distributed data stores such as Cassandra, Hbase, Mongo etc.
• Provide verbal and written status to management and client
• Working directly with client in the US

The following experience is a plus:
• SQL server and traditional RDBMS
• Messaging business / queues – such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MSMQ etc.
• .NET asynchronous programming
• User interface development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Front end work – including JavaScript, CSS and HTML
